For Samsung, voice goes digital with the new YV-150
For those who are tired of carrying around big tape recorders or walkmans to record an interview or something along those lines, the Samsung YV-150 is the latest solution.

This small and nifty device records voice as well as plays back the recorded voice. The inbuilt speaker system allows you to listen to the recorded voice. The YV-150 comes in two versions. The 512 MB version is priced at $163 while the 1 gig version is available at a price of $203. The tiny little YV-150 is packed with a wide range of features.
The Samsung YV-150 not only plays music files (mostly in mp3 and wma format), FM radio. Unlike any other device, this voice device lets you store files in different folders. So, it's basically like a tiny computer that you are carrying along with you.
But, this particular device is mostly famous for the voice functions. Hence, the righteously coined name: 'voice pen'. One unique thing about this YV-150 is that it can transform any text into a voice file. This functionality is technically known as text to speech functionality. This 'voice pen' recognizes six languages. Also, Spoken voice can be recorded at 32/64/128 kbps.
So now you can imagine the multitude of things that can be achieved with this particular 'voice pen'. The Samsung YV-150 voice pen runs on a pair of AAA batteries, which gives it an approximate battery life of 20 hours. If you need a cool voice recorder, YV-150 is the thing to buy.
