After all, it is not a robot like product from WowWee. That is why the Flytech Dragonfly, the remote-controlled flying toy has been very much in news the day it flew at the CES show in Las Vegas earlier this year.
At the very outset, Dragonfly gives me the impression of a bird which flies in the sky flapping its wings. Yes, it is the world’s first radio controlled ornithopter. Being a flying insect, the Flytech Dragonfly flies from any smooth surface of your home and makes soft landing.
The Dragonfly is a light (very) weight toy. So, it can fly without damaging your home interiors. The insect has a dual-wing, light-up LED eyes and crash-resistant structure. It has different colors like blue, green, red and orange.
It can fly for approximately 10 minutes on a single charge. It is recharged by plugging it into its remote control unit which requires 6 AA alkaline batteries. It requires a 20 minute charge for full flight time.
It is now available in WowWee stores in USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Japan, Switzerland, Korea, Philippines and Hong Kong
