Wires are irksome and forget about flying with these, we don’t even want this creepy dead crap around us anywhere. Now, at least while hanging in air, you can be sure of that with the latest ‘AIVA’ airplane controlled by ‘fly-by-wireless’ technique that relies on Bluetooth wireless network.
AIVA is designed completely without wires and manufacturer Cristina Santos from Portugal is also able to shed extra weight off the 3-metre-long plane with the help of wireless technology making it more sophisticated to fly.
The idea seems much better than the latest optical fibers used but has raised safety issues with respect to radio jamming due to electromagnetic interference, which need to be tackled.
