Floater cellphone concept created only to please the eye
The designer believes his cellphone lies idle on a table for about 80% of the day, whereas he uses it for only 20% of the day to make and receive call or for other multimedia functions. The notion may be true with designer Mac Funamizu, but I know it may not stand true for all of us. Still the Idea behind the Floater cellphone concept remains unaltered.

Because he has his phone on exhibition for the most part of the day, Mac thought of designing a phone that would look striking and appealing to the eye, and would sit up by itself looking most elegantly when lying on the table. Floater A is such a concept cellphone which features a curved bottom that allows the phone to tilt up a bit when lying on a flat surface. The phone nods or rotates when it receives a phone call or an email etc.
Floater B cellphone on the other hand doesn’t move around like the Floater A, but has a supporter on its back that supports the oval-shaped body to stand on a flat surface. The supporter attached to the cellphone slides out to be used as a physical keypad. There into more info on the other specification the designer would want the phone to be loaded with.
