Tech enthusiasts have been telling us for ages that e-books are going to be the future of all reading but the fact remains that the trend had really failed to catch on that much simply for the reason that people love to flip through pages! But developers seem to have marked that problem and a new dual-display e-book reader created by researchers at Maryland and Berkeley Universities promises to remedy the situation. The reader allows two leaves to be opened and closed to simulate turning pages, or even separated to pass round or compare documents. This allows the folded back leaves to be displayed one on each. When you turn it over, it reveals a new page. Though the device is still under works, we’re optimistic we shall soon have these readers selling across the world in bookstores with e-books being available for downloads at kiosks.
