Hmm, can the computer withstand the will of a one-year-old while they are teething? That should be one of the tests because apparently this computer can “morph” into 3-D shapes such as a Coke Can. If you still aren’t getting this (it took me a while too), it’s like wrapping the “computer” around the can or if you’ve seen Star Trek, it’s like those tablets that are computers but this is much smaller. They say this isn’t much of a scientific breakthrough but to tell the truth it is. I mean honestly, when was the last time you went to your local Gas Station and found a coke can that had a computer on it?
I know what some of you are thinking. ‘Well, what about the computer, do you just throw it away?’. Well, actually the computer part of it can be removed from the actual can and disposed separately. This is a good thing because all of you conservatives out there can’t shoot the invention for not being environmentally safe.
According to professor Roel Vertegaal of Queen’s Human Media Laboratory, this, along with some other concepts of flexible computers, is very much possible in the near future.
Well, isn’t that interesting? So let me get this straight. You can actually use this program for any paper or object around your house? Well that’s pretty sweet. I can’t wait to see the price tag on this neat-o item, if at all it goes into production.
