Flat-body Panasonic DMC-FP8 with fastest auto focus and folding optics
Panasonic never takes long to mesmerize us with its digital cameras. Yet again the manufacturer is back to impress the geeko-grapher in us with the Panasonic DMC-FP8, a flat-bodied camera housed in high-quality aluminum exterior. Sans a fixed barrel lens, the camera’s flat body is made possible with the DMC-PF8’s retracting lens with folding optics.

The futuristic-looking digicam offers high-speed auto focus and a 12.1MP camera for some well detailed photography. Flaunting a Leica DC Vario Elmar 28mm wide angle lens with a 4.6x optical zoom, the DMC-FP8 is a dynamic camera that captures high-definition pictures in good 1280x720p at a perfect 30fps.
The FP8 bears a comparatively large 2.7-inch LCD display in addition to the WVGA (848x480), and despite its outstanding performance, it is also more energy efficient with battery life up to 380 shots (CIPA) per a single charge.
