Functionality:

It seems as if the company has squeezed all the available technology in this super slim avatar. The main attractant is the super AMOLED plus WVGA display apart from typical feature’s like an Accelerometer, Digital Compass, Gyro Sensor and a Proximity Sensor. This tech-heavy phone has an HDMI port and SNS integration. The exclaiming 4.3-inch screen doesn’t look bulky as the body of the smartphone has been trimmed down. Features like 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, Full HD video recording & playback, HSPA+ (21Mbps) support and 1650mAh battery add to the whole brilliance. It has also been groomed with TouchWiz 4.0, a whole new edition.

What to expect:

With a reputed name comes attached numerous expectations and Samsung can’t stay unaffected from it. A larger screen for clarity and watching videos or video conferences with ease would surely be an icing on the cake. A most modern generation of Android Gingerbread software makes the phone all the more powerful. Expected to get an overhaul hence, raising the whole experience level will be the Kies syncing software. Here’s hoping that the software will be more steadfast than Galaxy S. With a main physical home button sandwiched by two sensitive options that act in response to a light touch for ‘Menu’ and ‘back’ the design gorgeousness looks somewhat similar to Galaxy S.

What not to expect:

The speakers though powerful are not the best in this league. Don’t expect something extraordinary or out of the world when it comes to this recently launched Galaxy S II.

Wrap up:

The phone leaves a good impression on the whole. Its trim façade and bigger screen add to its exquisiteness. Without any doubt it is going to be a dual-core smart phone clubbed with the new generation of Android giving it all the more power to perform. Sensational video quality and enhanced contrast ratio offer the best images. Here’s hoping the phone outshines all flaws its predecessor had and proves its mettle in the smart phone world.
