The latest name to join the Android-powered tablet bandwagon is WooW. WooW has announced a 10-inch, that’s large, WooW Digital The One Tablet, scheduled to hit shelves by Christmas. Slated to hit markets with Android’s upcoming version 2.3, Gingerbread OS, The One Tablet will be released first in the Japanese market, and then later in the European and other South East Asian markets. There’s no word on the US availability of the device yet. For all the interested folks, the WooW Digital The One Tablet besides the mentioned 10-inch 1024 x 600p display, will feature an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB flash drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. WooW Digital The One Tablet will be the first tablet to incorporate the Android 2.3, Gingerbread, and will sell for a modest 42,000 YEN (approx. $500).
