Fingerprint security for getting your bike started

A simple touch will be required to start your bike, this is the new vision of Hawk Systems Inc. The company has started a new quest for a highly sophisticated system to revamp the traditional methods of kick-starting a bike. The basic metaphysics of this concept is to turn on the electrical panel with a simple push of a touch button.

There is no way that an intruder can think of stealing the bike, as it would perceive the commands from its owners touch only. Besides the BioKey finger feature, the company is also aiming for raising the overall endurance of the mechanism. The view of Hawk Systems is to make the concept run in harsher to harder conditions encountered by the biker.

Besides all the challenges, the organization is hopeful to launch the fingerprint security system by the second quarter of 2011. For now, Paul Teutul Jr. is shouldering the responsibility of installing the device in one of his new custom builds. After the implementation, the thieves would then definitely think to cut off your finger or thumbs to steal your bike.
