finding-the-next-gen-superstars-like-ronaldo-using-genetic-screening_fqPVf_59
It is the crazy world of football where people can go to any limit to assess what the future has in store for them. We’ve heard of prying eyes trying to discover footballing talent in the deepest darkest corners of the world, but all could soon change for science would potentially act as a substitute, discovering talent by mere gene determination. It is not just an insinuation but a secreted clubs behest to discover talent using gene determination for which they have contacted Dr. Henning Wackerhage of the school of medical sciences at Aberdeen University.

They want Dr. Wackerhage to differentiate the next gen. Ronaldo’s from the rest of the lot by using his experience of genetic screening to ultimately assess whether they posses the genetic predilection to attain athletic supremacy. Dr. Wackerhage came into limelight after a recent set of experiments as per which he claimed that it could eventually be possible to produce super human beings, wherein they would get the requisite genes like ACTN3, PPARdelta, IGF-1 as buttox shots to make them perform at the level, international athletes do.

The claim to determine future footballers using the same technique has however been bereft stating the fact that good athletes cannot necessarily be good footballers although the reverse is true in most cases. A lot depends on skill and mental ability as well. The UK Sporting body which governs drug testing also seems hapless about the secret club’s query for genetic screening on players is not an offence as per the regulations of the World Anti-Doping Agency.
