Fiction made real with palm-mounted laser weapon inspired from Iron Man

Iron Man has many fans all over the world, one such fan is a German lab technician Patrick Priebe who not only watches the series repeatedly but is so inspired by it, that he took it upon himself to make a small compact yet powerful laser inspired by Tony Stark’s compact yet powerful laser inspired by Tony Stark’s, which can pierce through wood and burn minor things.

Tony Stark dons a self made suite of Titanium steel coupled with powerful laser weapons implanted in his palms to combat super-villains and blow them up. Priebe has taken this fictional concept to a level where the line between reality and fantasy is erased. His small palm-mounted laser weapon is 1,000 milliwatts whereas those already found in the market have only five milliwatts of strength.

Priebe's weapon is powerful enough to cause damage to the eyes of someone not wearing safety glasses. Priebe has also created a suitable c-shaped casing around the palm out of two millimeter sheet of brass to place it into the palm perfectly. Inside the casing he has a ring which has a Casio projector to produce a laser diode, this ring acts as a hit sink. The whole thing runs on 7.4 volts of power supplied from lithium-ion batteries. Besides this Priebe has a device inside the ring called Driver to keep the laser pointer from going hay wire and damage the laser diode.
