Faster USB 3.0, next-gen connector’s specs revealed soon
USB connectors are essential building blocks of data transfer. Owing to its popularity and necessity, makers like Intel, Nvidia and AMD had announced the upcoming USB 3.0 a while back, but since then the news has disappeared somehow. However, it is all up for a restart now, with final protocol specifications of the third generation USB to be formally made public in the SuperSpeed USB Developers Conference in San Jose, California, on Monday November 17. The USB 2.0 is in for a better and much faster replacement, as the USB 3.0 touts to be 10 times faster than its predecessor. The introduction of the next generation USB specifications is symbolized eminent, because all future devices are to be built to use connectors based on superspeed 3.0.
