MG Siegler of TechCrunch has run the yet-to-be-unveiled Facebook iPad app on his iPad to see if it is working wonderfully well. The app has better dimensions in line with the larger screen of Apple tablet. Siegler has posted several screenshots of his Facebook profile to show how smoothly the app is working.

There has not been a special Facebook app for iPad which has been creating waves in the market more than a year now. Facebook app for iPhone has been used by iPad users until now. Since it is designed for the small display of smartphone, the app has not been fit for the 9.7-inch screen of iPad. Once enlarged into the full screen, the pixel resolution will be affected badly.

The upcoming Facebook app for iPad is designed using HTML5. It has a sidebar full of settings which will help you access various functions and activities of Facebook, world’s top social media site with more than 600 million users.

The navigation system of soon-to-be-launched Facebook app for iPad has been appreciated by TechCrunch. Unlike iPhone app of Facebook, the one for iPad works quite smoothly. It has unique options to update status messages and share links, images, and videos easily.
