Nike’s eyeD, which could be inserted into extended-interface accessories created excitement amongst sports fans. It can link wirelessly with HUD glasses, wrist displays, etc. to provide seamless control and information. With high definition streaming video and haptic audio, sporty experiences can be captured and users can compete with each other via a global competition network, both in real time events and against recorded historical leaderboards. Personal data and content can be navigated through a hybrid touch-capacitive, voice and tactile interface. And now the swimming enthusiasts have the Eye-swim, which is developed as a concept for the eyeD range. This concept for goggles, designed by Humberto Jimenez for Nike’s eyeD line, eliminates the strap and nose of the goggles and is applied using a medical adhesive. It uses Nike’s Maxsight tinted lens for a smart eye experience underwater, can store a multitude of statistics, which can be viewed in real-time, and also provides information for improvement during practice. The Eye-swim package comes with an extended interface device that can be attached to the neck, measuring heart rate, distance covered, and other desired data. Any dedicated swimmer would jump for this product for its sleek look.
