Following the buzz word ‘mini’ AOpen introduced its miniPC early this year creating ripples round the mac crazy world. Today let’s get inside this next generation miniPC. AOpen polished its mini keeping it just 6×6″ by loading it with a tiny Intel 945GT chipset motherboard. The new version showcased at the CeBit weighs just 5 pounds.







The blower fan makes sure that the Pentium M processor is cool enough not make you jittery by sucking all the hot air out of the case. There is SATA HDD measuring just 2.5 inches to take care of the storage and also a slot loading slimline optical drive. A DDRII SODIMM memory module in installed to cut off more space. The Mini-PCI slot includes a bunch of connectors including: DC in; DVI out; S-Video out; Gigabit Ethernet; Firewire; 2 x USB 2.0; 3 x 3.5mm audio jacks.
