The U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center (SSC) is developing really cool exoskeleton suits for its soldiers. Sarcos and Raytheon have already built suits that aren’t functional, as they either weigh too much or consume too much power. The question of safety has also been bugging the developers, as soldiers need to handle dangerous and heavy weapons with the help of these exo-suits. If the hydraulic line snaps, it would mean disaster. If only these exo-suits could help the soldiers to handle everyday usage of weapons in conflict-hit regions, it would be a great help, as that may save a great many soldiers’ lives. Soldiers would also be able to perform logistic activities more efficiently.
