Alkaline battery makers are taking their rivalry to new heights, in this case as high as one of the cliffs of the Grand Canyon. In a bid to show the world the Evolta batteries' endurance, Japanese electronics major Panasonic got a miniature robot to scale the Grand Canyon cliff. The 17 centimeter robot managed to scale the height of five thirty metres in a yawn-inducing six hours and forty five minutes. That makes the Evolta alkaline battery 1.3 to 2 times more long lasting than any alkaline battery around. A compelling case to buy the Evolta alkaline batteries, isn't it?
