To combat other devices in its segment, Japanese company Evergreen has just launched their quality low-end DVD player called EG-D2340X.
However, you might have to make some compromises on quality and loading process, which is quite slow. The light remote control requires AAA batteries and HDMI ports are also not incorporated.
EG-D2340X is just twenty-two centimeters wide and offers only few output options. For audio, it encompasses an optical out or an analog out whereas for video it offers three options, video, S-video and component out.
This portable device is region free and is capable to play all DVDs like NTSC or PAL from anywhere owing to its multi-voltage input. The best part is that it supports numerous formats and any standard DVD/DVD±R (8cm - 12cm) or CD/CD-R/RW (8cm - 12cm) like: DVD-VIDEO, SV-CD, VCD, CD-DA (music CD), CD-G/CD+G, MPEG1/2, MPEG4, DivX, MP3 (32kbps - 320kbps), WMA (128kbps) JPEG.
To get Evergreen’s latest DVD player is not a bad deal when you just have to shell out $50.
