Whenever you think of some super fast CPUs like the Intel's Kentsfield the main thing to worry about is the heat generated by the Processor.
When such fast systems are overclocked even the best cooling mechanism does suffice the mechanism. The only option left is to have some sort of a coolant in the heat sink and there is no better coolant than water.
But having a water cooled heat sink has its own problems. It will have pumps, radiators, pipes and the main danger is water leakage that can reduce your system into ashes in mere minutes.
Evercool has tried to develop a water cooled heat sink named Silver Knight with all the problems taken care of. The system looks bulky but is not as the four heat pipes are copper based, the fins are made of aluminum and the water cooling side part is plastic.
The system will not let you down even if the water cooling system fails as the heat pipes and fins are ventilated by a single large side fans.
The new technology from Evercool has decent performance and also a mechanism to prevent any sort of a water leakage and is also easy to install.
