eSys Information Technologies has always stated that its main intent is to not only deliver quality products but also wipe out the misconception that quality always comes with a high price tag. Now I really wish that that would happen as even in my own head, at some level I have always associated high end pricing with fine quality. Maybe it is the way in which we are socially programmed, but it would be really nice if anyone could break the mould. The problem is that the moment someone gives you a very low price, you almost always think that there is something wrong with the product.
eSys has introduced two new models of their lifestyle Wizard PCs - eSys Wizard STP 070901 and eSys Wizard 8456 ELL. For starters, both of them look pretty good on design and that is a nice start. I always start off with taking a look at the design as it is the most obvious feature and also gives you a sense of the space a system would occupy on your desk.
The Wizard STP 070901 comes with a 22-inch TFT monitor which is pretty big and nice. It has a Pentium processor, 1GB DDR2, 400GB IDE/DVDRW, wireless multimedia keyboard and wireless optical mouse. It is bundled with an all-in-1 card reader, a TV tuner card with remote and eSys Divoom 2.1 Speaker System. The entire package looks really good and at a price of Rs. 32, 990 is a good buy indeed.
The Wizard 8456 ELL comes with a 17-inch flat monitor, Intel PD925, 945GCM Chipset, 1GB DDR2, 200GB SATA, DVDRW, wireless multi media keyboard, wireless optical mouse, 32-in-1 card reader and eSys Divoom 2.1 Speaker System. It is pretty compact and has of course that fine flat screen feel to it. Its configuration might fall in comparison with Wizard STP 070901 but I really like it better. Moreover it comes at a price of Rs. 19, 990.00, which is indeed great. These are two sets of PCs that are worth taking a look it.
