Epson’s latest offering is EMP-400W; it is a projector and promises a big picture from very short distance. Epson has claimed that is can deliver crystal clear 60-inch projection when placed at mere 65cm from projection surface (screen). It has been designed specially for business presentations and is also equipped with EasyMP network monitoring system that will notify the user regarding any maintenance needs, by sending advance notices and even e-mail alerts.
EMP-400W uses Epson’s Twin Optimized Reflecting Lamp (E-TORL) and works on 1280 x 800 resolution using WXGA resolution model. It includes 10W speaker and can automatically adjust to 4:3, 16:10 and 16:9 aspect ratio depending on the feed provided. It will soon be available for £1200 (approx).
