The company has already won such cases earlier in Europe and Asia and is pretty confident that it will keep the winning streak alive.

Epson's winning streak is made alive in U.S. as the company filed case against 24 companies and out of them five companies have agreed to stop importing cartridges and three have agreed to temporarily stop the import but will have their cases heard at the district court.

This move by Epson can also lead to other manufacturers of its class to follow the same pattern.

The business of replacement Inkjet market is so big that at one time HP was earning nearly all the profit from this trade.

The printer manufacturers also use some tricks to make the customers tied to them if they purchase a printer of their brand.

Manufacturers are also making the entry of the customers cheaper by lowering the cost of the printer so that they can afterwards earn by selling replacement inkjet cartridges.
