If you are a huge music enthusiast but forget to charge your PMP usually (like me) before leaving the home, Trevor Baylis, creator of the clockwork radio, has come up with a radical music player ,ePod, capable of playing music nonstop for 20 hours. Not only the Eco Media Player is hailed as the ‘greenPod,’ targeting the eco-conscious music lovers, it is also the world's first wind-up music and video player, capable of storing no less than 500 songs. Featuring FM radio, torch, voice recorder and video player, the hot player can produce adequate power to play 40 minutes of songs, by cranking a fold down handle at the rear, in just 60 seconds. The attractive and useful wind-up gadget employs a dynamo to power small but powerful lithium batteries. To play video clips and view photographs, it has a 1.8in LCD screen. Moreover, you can also charge the player by plugging it to a PC or notebook. Though, the pioneering player, launched last year, comes with a price tag of £140 (approximately) but you also may turn it into an emergency mobile phone charger with extra (almost double) cost.
