Asus is just not shying away from the limelight anytime soon. The manufacturer has impressed us all the way with utmost consistency, and has the potential and more importantly the zeal to do it over and over. Making news lately with, no not the e-book reader but, its new UnLimited Series of laptops, topped by the Asus UL50 - a jaw dropping notebook with amazing 12 hours battery backup. No hoax, take it boldly guys.
The long battery backup is courtesy an embedded 8-cell battery. Nokia may claim 12 hours backup in the Nokia Booklet 3G, but this Asus creation is any day ahead given the 15.6-inch screen, 4GB of RAM, an Intel CULV 1.3GHz processor and 250/320/500GB hard drive options, all this in a 2.1kg device, cool right? No real confirmation on price and availability, yet speculations have the Windows 7 running version of the Asus UL50 coming next month. I have my fingers crossed.
