If you thought that running a business is not a child’s game then you will be proven wrong once you hear about Anshul Samar, who at 14 is the CEO of a gaming business. Anshul has invented a trading card game dubbed Elementeo that enhances the players’ knowledge of chemistry as the players proceed with game. The game consists of 121-card deck, each representing a chemical element, compound and catalyst. Each card has an explanation of the element or compound’s use and property. Depending on the reaction of one compound on another, the player will cast his move. For instance, the oxygen card could rust a metal card and the copper conductor card could shock a metal. The oxidation state of an element determines its attack power and the physical state of the compound determines its movement on the board. In order to win the game, a player should reduce the opponent’s electrons to zero by manipulating the chemical properties of his cards. The 14-year-old CEO of Alchemist Empire Inc. wants the gamers to delve in the real world of matter instead of the unreal world of fantasy games.
