Eight-foot Titan robot is a singing and dancing Joe
Modesty is the rhyme in music, but just rock back to the era when those wild rock stars with freakin’ dreadlocks descended on us, were they scary, or hauntingly exciting? They have passed, but personally the era was miraculous. Now, an eight-foot tall robot has descended on Dubai's GITEX Technology Week 2009, and with merits not just obvious but somewhat there, is wowing crowds singing "What a Wonderful World" and "My Way," with some infrequent twists to a chorus of oohs and aahs, that’s musically haunting, but all in all exciting.
Dubbed the Titan, this robot isn’t from the Jupiter’s satellite, if you went by the name that is, but is made here on Earth itself with all earthly sentiments. Besides the singing and dancing, Titan has been a big audience gripper with its ability to talk and break down into tears, if it didn’t like your face.
