Easy Gate PC to Follow One Laptop Per Child (in France)

Following the footsteps of One Laptop Per Child and to endow the French people with PCs and internet the French ISP firm, Neuf Cegetel coming together with the Easy Gate, the new cheap computer, has launched Easy Neuf, a new internet access plan.

Equipped with Intel 852GM chipset, six USB ports, 512MB of RAM and 512MB of flash memory, Easy Neuf asserts to cater the internet at speeds of up to 8Mbps and offers unrestrained VoIP calls to French landlines. At the top, if there will be any problem, 'proactive service monitoring" will allow the company to keep an eye on your PC and you need nor to register any complaint.

You may own the Linux box and internet service package for €40 ($50) per month, in addition a €150 safety deposit, and additional one-time fee of €100 ($126) for keyboard, mouse, monitor, and webcam.

Everything seems to be perfect unless there won't be any hacking problems, as happened with One Laptop Per Child.
