Using recycled Mobile Phone LCD panels for good, is what the story here is all about! ‘DVIEW’ is infact the world’s first business card-sized PC that is fabricated by Hokuto System Co Ltd, Japan. It incorporates a CPU, a graphics LSI and a used mobile phone LCD panel, seriously I can’t believe it! It contains a crystal clear LCD panel which is just 2.2-inch but managing a crisp QVGA (320 x 240) resolution.

It runs on “ARM7TDMI” core CPU at that whooping 81MHz. Storing 40-Kbyte through that SRAM is a delightful add-on too. Shows full supports for MP3, MIDI and ADPCM, CMOS camera input.

DDL added that –

It helps you have access to USB and an SD memory card, etc. Using an expansion board, the DVIEW can use USB or over a LAN as well. As such, capabilities can be chosen in accordance with the application, pricing can be lowered if capabilities are reduced.
