The Duo-Touch II, an Australian product, is a touchscreen tablet PC that can be fixed onto the passenger seat or between the two front seats with the help of a surfboard vehicle mount. Designed by AvanTEC, the rugged computer is powered by an Intel Core Duo U2500 1.2 Ghz processor and runs on Windows Vista. One of the most interesting features is its DynaVue military grade color screen that offers readability even under sunlight. Since mobility is a key characteristic, the tablet computer supports a variety of wireless technologies, including GPS, 3G broadband Internet, Bluetooth and Wireless LAN. It sits flat on the work surface and also features a tilt and swivel mechanism for user convenience.

The Duo-Touch II is water, dust and vibration resistant, and is also built to work in environments with temperature levels of up to 60°C. The handy, "fix and detach" tablet PC has a suggested retail price of $5,275 Australian Dollars (AUD) and the surfboard vehicle mount will retail at $355 AUD.
