
Olympus has launched 2 new Dictaphones in the market called Voice-Trek DS-50 and DS-40.
The launch comes a few days after Sony announced two Dictaphones of its own.
The DS-50 is a 1GB memory capacity phone and the DS-40 has memory of 512 MB.
Both the phones are capable of reading MP3’s but will record in WMA format.
Olympus has also included a noise reduction system to improve the quality of the recorded data. The phones also have DSS Player v7 software with PodCast component that will allow you to upload all your favorite audio files.
The phones have VCVA which allows starting and stopping the recording with voice commands.
There is no word on the price and availability of the phones.
