If you are a drummer, and you feel that it’s really difficult for you to carry your drum kit, then here is the solution you can opt for. Just get a pair of drum-jeans and you are done. Sounds unbelievable? Well, Aseem Mishra, a 17-year-old student from the Hymers College in West Hull, UK, stargazed to set a drum kit in jeans, and won a Young Engineer of the Year Award when he succeeded to make his dream come true. Aseem used eight sensors for the different sections of a drum kit to fit them into his jeans and plugged them into an external speaker or headset so that he can play it anywhere.

Being a drummer himself, he realizes and explains:
The University of Hull is been very kind and given me a place in a lab, and I’m really grateful to them
Adam Young, head of design technology at Hymers College, says:
It's very commercial and it's got a lot of interest. I think he could take it further
This idea is a prototype now, and Aseem cherishes a wish to create a mass-producible version of the drum jeans.
