DoCoMo Inc. has launched a new mobile phone – the FOMA Raku-Raku Phone Premium (F884i). The new model, while supporting both W-CDMA and GSM technologies for international roaming also supports 1 seg viewing and the Osaifu-Keitai technology or the contact less mobile IC card capabilities. The most outstanding feature of this smart phone is the voice based e-mail text messaging. If the user wants to get any information on train timings or routes, then the voice input button in the e-mail editing display is pressed and the software recognizes the voice and produces access to the i-mode site and the written e-mail response is received by the phone and displayed on the screen. The Yoko-Motion technology or the motion detector technology incorporated in the model enables the phone to launch the 1 seg application when the phone is tilted to the right and to start the camera when the phone is tilted to the left.
