How to go about it?
You choose the size and colors online, then you will receive a home kit in the mail where you send back a sample of your saliva. DNA 11 specialists extract the DNA and take a digital picture in black and white. After some tweaking, the result is a completely personal and unique piece of abstract art to add style and individualism to your home.
If you are not interested in making a portrait and find it difficult to go about this saliva process, here is another option..How about a fingerprint portrait? Simple thumb impression is required (it is comparatively cheaper).
Process back in the studio
Customers place their orders on DNA 11's Website (www.dna11.com); size and custom color are selected; DNA 11 sends a fingerprint collection kit including all essentials; and the kit is returned to DNA 11 studios.
Once the imageis received, DNA 11 scans the print with a high-resolution scanner. That print is then manually adjusted to clearly illustrate each fingerprint ridge; images can be magnified up 4,000 percent.
Color options available
The artwork is affordable and offers a wide range of prices; framing is an option. There are 15 exciting color schemes categorized into three designer-color series: Classics, Earth, and Pop.
Price structure
It has a wide range of price on offer. A DNA portrait will cost you anywhere between $390 to $790, depending on your choice, whereas a fingerprint portrait is comparatively cheaper and starts at $190.
