Crazy buggers build crazy things, even if it takes ripping off most renowned of entities for their pleasure. Case in point this off-road Roomba robot by DIY-er Dean Segovis. Until now we’ve been graced with the Roomba’s vacuum cleaning traits at home, now with slight tinker – which involves motors, controller and battery pack of the Roomba ripped off and synced with an Arduino based processor and ultrasonic sensor, we have a robotic rover on wheels ready to take on almost any terrain and avoid all kinds of obstacles on route.
