We make trash out of anything, while modder Amnon has made a DIY garbage bin that operates via voice commands. Matching our ability to make trash and complementing well, gulping what we make down its gut just on a speech command… wow! Never bothered calling out the bin to me, but went to it instead – now all lazy folks like me have a robo-bin that on calling will get to you following a black marked route. Built using18 volts cordless drill motors, microchip PIC 18F4431 and batteries for power, the garbage bin (“Pach Zevel” that’s how they call it in Hebrew) follow the black lines candidly. In the near future the garbage bin could be embedded with UV sensors, which definitely do away with the lines and make the entire system more comprehensive. Enjoy the video after the jump.
