DIY Laser remote control for the iPod, commendable!

Have lasers become your friend already? If not, then this DIY project, which would let you control your iPod from across the room, would certain put lasers into your good books. The idea here is to set up a laser beam in the room and then by breaking this beam by the hand, head or just any part of the body you can get in the way, you can control the iPod on which the beam is directed. How many functions of the iPod are covered, isn’t what I sure of, but the effort is surely commendable. Enjoy the video demonstration of the laser remote control for better understanding.
