DIY-er clamps five cellphones for a guitar delivering ‘app’reciative music

Have you gotten over the iPad DJing, or playing Ocerna over the iPhone? Well if you haven’t then Steffest’s Phone Guitar will definitely get you out – that with some feet tapping of course. The definitive hack features 5 mobile devices are attached to a piece of wood coupled-up with a battery powered speaker. These are 2 Android phones, 2 Windows Mobiles and an iPod Touch. The installation is readied well to play the Cracklin’ Rosie by Neil Diamond, made possible by some self-written (by steffest) app (small piano/drum sequencer) for Android, Windows Mobile and iPhone. Besides this the main instruments are the iShred and Guitar apps by Frontiedesign, while a Stompbox has been attached for those real-time effects hear.
