Dr. Malcolm Coulthard has designed a dialysis machine for a girl who was suffering from an almost fatal kidney failure. The girl, Millie Kelly, survived thanks to the DIY dialysis machine. Many under aged children may not be able to use the standard sized dialysis machines and the one designed Dr. Coulthard could help save young lives. The devise is a smaller version of the original and was built in 7 days. The machine is a green metal box with a few wires in it and does the job extremely well in spite of it’s noble looks. Though the DIY machine is still being used when other machines can’t be used, Dr. Coulthard feels the machine needs to be improvised. Meanwhile the girl’s mother Rebecca can’t stop thanking the doctor for saving her daughter’s life.
