Is that TFT screen on your notebook PC a prized possession for you, great, even I thought it was amazing. Then every great thing is followed by a speck, or ain't it, yes you will definitely defend your possession. Therefore, here I'll acquaint you with a few technicalities. The LCD screens come with a polarized film coating on it's surface, that though reduces the reflection and the strain you might otherwise confront, but the chemical properties of this coating is such that it gathers a lot of dust, that at times, ah, and for people like me very often, becomes annoying.

If you're from the same league, we have something to cherish - LG Philips has announced that it is developing a dirt resistant 15.4-inch TFT-LCD panel for notebook PCs. So all of us are in for spotless screens that'll carry no dust, great, may be I won't catch flu any more. The makers believe the new display will allow easy removal of smudges, dust, fingerprints and also permanent ink.

LG Philips have added another coating on the polarized film, the process is time-consuming but has certainly helped the manufacturers come up with the dirt-free LCD concept. The principle that wipes away the dirt takes after the concept of non-stick frying pans, as made known by Byung-Chul Ahn. The company has assured that the technology will go in mass-production by the first half of 2008.
