DirecTV is bringing a dual tuner

For DirecTV network users you can now download your favourite TV shows directly on your computer. DirecTV has brought HDPC-20 a dual tuner device that can be connected directly to your PC with the USB. However, it works best with Windows Media center but users of the other Window editions can also install it. In addition, an Ethernet port most probably will be used to download on demand programmes.

Incorporated into the dual tuner will be H.264 HD access, in-band EPG data and PPV access. HDPC-20 will come with the regular DirecTV Access Card and will work independently of a standalone STB.
