Digital pens on a scale of versatility and compatibility

Digital pens have been a blessing to everyone who has to take notes. Advantage being, you can transfer what you write on to a computer that recognizes your handwriting and you can export them as pdf and jpeg files as well. In the market there quite a few digital pens each with its advantages and disadvantages. For instance, the Pulse pen which is almost perfect, loses to other digital pens as it doesn't work unless you write on the paper or notebooks provided by the Pulse company. At $95 each, Iogear's The Mobile Digital Scribe and Dane-Elec's ZPen, can record you writing no matter where you write. However, they don't have many features like the Pulse pen: no cameras, microphones, little screens. It is good for those who just want to take notes on any surface and convert it to text later. The digital pens are equipped with receivers and can be connected to the USB jack on your PC. ZPen scores over the Scribe partly because it has more capacity and also is more adaptable. The Scribe lets you use the pen while its connected to the computer and you can use it as a mouse as well. Before buying a digital pen, it is important evaluate your requirements and then choose the model, as they are all versatile and each comes with it's pros and cons.
