DesCom - A table just for your laptop... provided its large enough!

The header looks a bit confusing, isn't it? Well, it is confusing, but sometimes, it pays to agree with the disagreeable. Take for instance, the DesCom table by Sung-kyu Nam. The table is specifically designed to hold your laptop seamlessly into the desktop surface, but the dedicated offset on the tabletop is a little too big for any regular size laptop. So, that leaves us with no option but to imagine an extra-large laptop to fill the gap gracefully. Now, one might ask, what is the logic behind choosing a design that is so purposeless without the right accessory? And what exactly will fill that offset in the absence of a laptop?
