Vinyl still persists as an undying trend with audiophiles. Their amount of use has never seemed to die out, even with the digital entry. Yet there are manufacturers who’ve kept pace with the transforming audio world, creating turntables that churn those vinyl records into digital fantasies. One novel addition to the ranks is Denon’s DP-200USB, a fully automatic turntable with a built-in MP3 encoder. The turntable in its modernity houses a USB port in the front, and allows for easy and automatic conversion of the vinyl into digital MP3 format, without the need of a PC. The $250 system interestingly transfers those records directly into the USB stick or PC hard drive, also tags MP3 tracks but is only compatible with Windows XP and Vista.
