Dell unveils the all new Inspiron M102z Laptop with AMD Fusion

Sober in its sleek bearing, albeit with a touch of ardor, here is the all new Inspiron M102z Laptop introduced by the exalted Dell. Created by one of the last major companies to integrate AMD Fusion, this wondrous laptop is all set to rejuvenate the dwindling netbook market.

As appearing on the Dell sites, the light Inspiron M102z Laptop comes with two models. One model includes a 1GHz Fusion chip, while the other one comes with 1.6GHz Zacate E-350 APU. Other than that, the models have quite similar and impressive specifications for a netbook, like Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) O.S, 2 GB Memory (4 GB selectable), 11.6" HD WLED display (1366x768), two 1.5W speakers, and a hard drive with up to 500GB of storage space. Other specs include a 1.3MP built-in webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a starting weight of 3.44lbs. One can also get audio jacks, a 7-in-1 media reader, AC adapter connector, HDMI output and integrated Ethernet jack.

As for the batteries, the device integrates a 6-cell 56WHr Li-ion battery, which can offer up to 9 hours of life, while an optional 9-cell battery can last nearly 14 hours. According to sources, it is now shipping to places like Singapore and New Zealand, but a worldwide debut can't be that far away.
