Dell XPS 15z: World's thinnest laptop unveiled!

Dell Computers, the most trusted brand in the laptop retail market, has rolled out its new laptop named the XPS 15z. It's the world's thinnest laptop with 15-inch LED monitor, and weighs somewhere around 5.5 lbs. It comes with second generation i5 or i7 processor under Nvidia GeForce GT graphics and 4 GB RAM. The RAM can, however, be extended up to 8 GB.

The display is said to be awesome with 1280 x 1080 pixel clarity. Just like other laptops, Dell XPS 15z has a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam. This laptop supports Bluetooth 3.0 and Intel WiDi display technology. A nine-in-one card reader and mini display ports list among the good features of this laptop. Notably, this laptop also has an over-sized touch pad to ensure good mouse handling.

The cost of XPS 15z is 1000 USD. However, you may have to shell out further if you go for upgrade, which includes adding RAM, HD display and hard disk drive. Specifications apart, this laptop has got an appealing look. XPS 15z is not only sleek but also trendy. If we compare this model with other models of Dell, previous models had all ports at the rear unlike the latest model. Almost all ports can be found at the side in XPS 15z with only one or two ports at the rear.

The speakers are found on the either side of the keypad just like ear panels. The keys of the laptop undoubtedly add beauty to the product. It has got back-lit Chiclet-style keys. The body of XPS 15z is made of silver colored aluminum alloy.
