The incident of the explosion of Dell’s laptop at a Japanese conference could definitely have been a deadly accident and is a revelation to ‘lap’-top enthusiasts. According to a conference attendee, the laptop produced several explosions for more than five minutes. The episode raises many apprehensions and of course, questions the reliability of these small machines too.

What if a laptop explodes on a plane, blowing off lives of hundreds of peoples on board; being on your heels too won’t help in that case. Manufacturers must dig out the roots of the problem at the earliest and fix it, instead of ducking it just because it happened for the first time, before things go awry.
