Dell recently unveiled their brand new high-resolution monitor and reiterated their belief that the latest Display Port is going to be a standard in the next-up models and redefine what LCD monitors will give the impression. Display Port gives support to up to 4times the existing HDTV resolutions, DVI, HDMI and audio signals.
With the unveiling of this high-resolution monitor, you will be capable of integrating the webcam, microphone, speakers, mouse, and other stuff via a single bi-directional cable with a transfer rate of 1.62 or 2.7 gigabits each second. It is also claimed to give support to many monitors too. Though sported above is only the prototype, however Dell aims at shipping out this half-inch-thick screen monitor later this year.
