Dell has launched all-in-one computer with a new design for home users in Japan and US. The company has also launched a tablet personal computer with touch screen technology. Created in Austin, the XPS One combines the computer and monitor into a single desktop package.
The new XPS One works as a computer, a media center and television. With the sleek design of computer, a combination of high-definition television and digital media center allows users to put it anywhere in the home. Dell will offer the XPS One at a price of $1,499 in Japan and US.
While the Dell’s Latitude XT Tablet is a thin 12.1 inch portable computer with a touch screen interface, which comes with multi-touch capability like the iPhone. The XT Tablet includes a photo viewer with wholly conceptual Surface tabletop computer, which will allow users to scroll through photos and move them about with multiple fingers. With the Latitude XT tablet PC, users can use stylus, digital pen or fingertip to operate the slate-shape machine.
Michael Dell, the chairman and chief executive of Dell stated that the Latitude XT tablet PC is the first developed under the company’s own brand.
