DARPA’s new robot will eat up life for fuel
After all kinds of freaking robots that we have seen already, here is a little info on the latest bizarrely thought out steam-powered robot backed by DARPA, Pentagon’s mad science agency. This one called the EATR is quite synonyms to its name, for the fact that this beast consumes all kinds of living matter for fuel.
Designed as an autonomous robot, the Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot (EATR), without the need to be fed externally, is fit for long range and enduring missions of the military. The bot fills its biomass furnace (the robot’s stomach) with the help of its claws and chainsaw, harvesting in all alternative fuels and biomass readily available in the environment. The project EATR is expected to take about three months to complete.
